Get ready for the best summer ever!
The Activity Center is proud to bring back our almost world famous SUMMER OF FUN DAY CAMP for ten weeks beginning Monday, June 12.
Camp operates Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM with an extended day option available until 5:00 PM.
Each day our campers are treated to exciting games, crafts, art projects as well as off site activities at local parks, pools and beaches. This summer we are proud to introduce our new GAGA BALL pit!!!
Campers also have access to everything inside the center: AIR HOCKEY, FOOSBALL, BILLIARDS, etc.
VIDEO GAMES and VIRTUAL REALITY experiences are available at drop off and right before pick up. In order to keep the campers fully engaged in “real life” activities, all screens are turned off between 9:45 AM and 3:00 PM.
We swim every Wednesday and Thursday and every Friday is beach day!
On warm summer days we may pull out our DUNK TANK, inflate a BOUNCE STRUCTURE, hand out WATER BLASTERS, or even throw a spontaneous FOAM PARTY!
Here’s everything else you will need to know:
STAFF
Our staff are caring and creative people who possess the qualifications to ensure that your child grows and thrives in a safe environment. Many are pre-school or elementary school teachers. At all times, at least one staff members present will be certified in CPR and First Aid. We strive to have a camper to counselor ratio of no more than 9:1.
FORMS
There are a few forms that we will require prior to your child’s arrival at camp. Please be sure to complete the Emergency Contact & Waiver of Liability form and return it prior to your first day of camp. One form can be used for up to two campers but will need to be updated every year. We will not be able to admit any child without all completed forms.
DROP OFF – PICK UP
We prefer you enter through the front door on Santa Monica Blvd. But if you are dropping off, and choose not to come in, you may also look for a staff leader with a sign in sheet directly in front of The Activity Center on Santa Monica Blvd.
EXTENDED CARE
Our camp program runs from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Campers who arrive more than 15 minutes early or are picked up more than 30 minutes late (4:00 PM) will be subject to a $10 Extended Care Fee. This amount can be paid in person at drop off/pick up.
SIGN IN – SIGN OUT
All campers must be signed in and signed out by a parent/legal guardian or designated responsible adult. We will not release your child to anyone without your prior consent. Please remember to list the names of any adult authorized to pick up your child on your Waiver of Liability form. If you have a last minute change of plans and require your child to be picked up by someone else, please email us your written consent.
PARKING
There is ample street parking near the main entrance on Santa Monica Blvd. There is currently no parking in the rear of the building. For security reasons, the rear doors to The Activity Center will be locked between the hours of 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Please enter through the front door on Santa Monica Blvd.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES
The Activity Center is full of fun and exciting experiences. Among our offerings are 6 large screen XBox/Wii/Playstation consoles and multiple Virtual Reality systems. While we invite our campers to enjoy these games at appropriate times, so we can focus the children on more traditional games and creative, group activities.
We also strongly discourage cell phones and electronic devices at camp. You can reach your camper in the event of an emergency by calling our main phone number at 310-907-7399.
The Activity Center is not responsible for loss or damage to any electronic devices brought to camp.
FOOD & BEVERAGES
As part of our daily curriculum, campers will be preparing their own lunches and snacks in our fully equipped teaching kitchen. Lunch, snacks and drinks (water/juice) are provided for all campers, however, if your child requires additional food/beverages throughout the day, we ask that you consider sending them along.

Super fun! My son and his friend(s) enjoys the Activity Ctr. The daily adventures, the kids and the staff make this place a go to for my child & peers. So glad it’s back up and going!
